The Georgian Court Hotel is a 4 star pet-friendly Hotel for those traveling to Vancouver. We welcome pets of all sizes, small or large, to stay with you in your room. A Pet Housekeeping Fee of $20/pet will be added to the daily room rate. We offer a variety of complimentary pet amenities available upon request. In addition to a pet blanket, a food & water dish will be provided for the use of your pet during your stay. In order to ensure a happy experience for all of our Hotel guests, pet owners agree to acknowledge the following:
1. PET QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome quiet, non-aggressive pets that are housebroken, and well behaved as not to disturb other guests. All pet guests must be completely free of fleas and ticks, be clean, well groomed and up to date on shots and vaccinations.
2. PET RULES IN THE ROOM
All pets must sleep in crates, carriers, or a pet bed. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. Under no circumstances may a pet guest be bathed in the guest room bathrooms. Please check with the Front desk for the name of a nearby pet grooming service should your pet require bathing.
3. PET MINDING – NEVER LEAVE PET UNATTENDED IN THE ROOM
Vancouver is very pet-friendly, and there are many restaurants that will welcome you and your pet. In the event you are unable to tend to your pet during your stay, we are happy to assist in arranging for a pet sitter with advance notice.
4. PET RULES OUTSIDE THE ROOM
Dogs must always be on a leash when outside the room and on the premises of the Hotel. The City of Vancouver does enforce a dog on leash law in public places, but at a doggy designated off-leash parkor beach your dog only needs to be within voice command. When outside the room, cats must be in a carrier.
5. PET ON HOTEL GROUNDS / PET CLEANUP
The Public areas of the Georgian Court Hotel are for the enjoyment of all of our guests, and we therefore request that, when possible, pets be walked off property for the purpose of relieving themselves. In Vancouver, it is the law that parents be responsible for cleaning up after their petsand special doggy bags are available in your room and at the Front Desk. Please dispose of doggy bag in a trash can for waste disposal.
6. PET DAMAGE
Owners are responsible for all damage caused to the room and premises by their pet guest. The room of pet guests will be inspected after check out and any such damages assessed and charged accordingly. Excessive damage may include charges for professional cleaning, rug replacement, and lost revenue charges while the room is out of service due to cleaning and repairs.
